I sort of abandoned this blog mid-point through my PhD, for various reasons. I have another blog here. Which details my progress in the Middle Kingdom, where I work as an English teacher in Beijing. When I was in the temperate rainforests of British Columbia, I came upon an Ecology Centre, in Lynn Canyon Park.

I wrote the following about a week and a half ago in partial fulfillment of this requirement. I no longer seem to have much difficulty staying healthy here, and most other students adapt within a month or so.
